GET TO KNOW KIRSTEN KING AND HEAD TRAINER
Kirsten fell in love with dog training at the age of 12 with her first dog Forest the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. They found their way into the agility world and that then branched Kirsten into after school going into the animal / dog training industry. Kirsten has 4 pets in total.
JINX
A female Blue Merle border collie who we call the old and wise. Jinx is often used as the demonstration dog in introduction classes, she previously has completed in agility and titled multiple times and is always around to help with 1 on 1 cases with clients and dog reactivity work. Jinx is slowly toning down her work load as she's coming up to being 9. She's still the best girl in the world.
REV
A male Blue Merle Tri Border collie imported from New Zealand. Rev is the wild child. From strong working lines, Rev is fast and has a do now think later attitude. Rev has been working on sheep herding and agility and is often seen as a sporting dog demo with his high enthusiasm. Revs a great example of a dog who had lengthy behaviour modification as he had a hard time and not so fun adolescent period. Rev only has eyes for mum but he loves coming out for drive and toy demonstrations.
SPOT
Black male Labrador ex guide dog that Kirsten trained and then adopted as her pet.
Spot sadly was assaulted while he was in training while being handled by Kirsten. They formed such a strong bond so when his career change came, Kirsten just couldn't say no. Spots used for dog reactivity work, beginner dock dog in training and also learning agility and obedience. All round cool dude!
MISS DIOR
The Sphynx cat. She may not be a dog but she sure does act like one. Dior is the baby of the team and is a great example of how to manage dogs and cats to live in harmony and Kirsten continues to educate her clients on training and management strategies on a multi pet household. Dior is the daughter of the demon but she's also super cute and cuddly.
